White-winged Vampire Bats (Phyllostomidae: Diaemus youngi) feed on the blood of birds (mostly domestic chickens). This photo is of two adults, a male (left) and female (right) that were caught together as they flew toward a chicken coop in Trinidad. Most people think this picture must be of baby bats, but these are adults. They are just really cute.
